Toys should never remain in the toy basket. They should be emptied at least 3 times a day...if not more. I'm not stupid enough to actually pick up the toys so many times a day because I need it clean. Heavens no! "Empty the toy basket" is one of our new games. Megan has figured out how to climb up the box next to the toy basket and pull toys out until it's light enough to the knock the whole thing over. Then we do it again and again and again. It really is fun to watch her figure it out.
What the heck is up with this separation anxiety crap? Geez. She pretty much has to be touching me or she's crying. It's very tiring. Tomorrow I guess I'll just duct tape her to my body. I did manage to do these things one-handed today: straighten the house, 2 loads of dishes, dust the living room, Swiffer-vac the tile, clean out her closet and drawers, 4 loads of laundry (folded, too), manually reprogram the cable channels, cook lunch and dinner, and pee 3 times. I promise - this is all with her dangling on my hip because she wouldn't nap! She's still going right now. She's not, but I'm worn out!!!! Help! When does this little phase end? And how can I help it along?
